About me
My name is Laura (Laa-ra). I use She/Her/Hers pronouns.
I am a digital creator, educator, full time van lifer, founder of Let Us Rest, and owner of Cosmic Market, an online vintage jewelry shop.
I am originally from Knoxville,TN, Cherokee and Yuchi territory.
I’ve lived in Jackson, WY, Shoshone-Bannock, Eastern Shoshone, + Cheyenne territory, and Concord, NH, Pennacook, Wabanaki, + Abenaki territory, as well.
I am a transracial adoptee. That means I am adopted and my adoptive family is a different race than I am. In my case, my family is white and I am Black.
I fell in love with the outdoors by going to summer camp and visiting the Smoky Mountains with my family as a kid.
I’ve been climbing for ~7 years and, while I’ve had my ups and downs with the sport, it’s something I truly love and can’t wait to get back to very soon.
